Vanessa Kauffman Zimmerly is a writer and editor. She writes about art, architecture & design, material culture, and poetics.

She is the co-founder and co-editor of the ad hoc publishing project Volumes Volumes, and for several years was an editorial member of Kelsey Street Press.

Past and current writing and editing clients include: Modern in Denver, OneClock, Studio ComoMarianne Campbell Associates, Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts, McEvoy Foundation for the Arts, envelope Architecture + Design, Art Practical, California College of the Arts, The Book Club of California, and Parenthesis, the journal of the Fine Press Book Association.
